Our Services operate on a credit-based system where users purchase Credits to access premium features like template downloads and evaluations.
Please read this policy carefully in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions. By purchasing Credits or using our paid Services, you agree to this Refund Policy.
Generally Non-Refundable: All purchases of Credits are final and non-refundable once the transaction is completed and the Credits are added to your account. Credits do not expire and remain in your account until they are used.
No Cash Value: Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between users, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of monetary refund, except as expressly required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
Legal Exceptions: If applicable law in your jurisdiction mandates a right to refund under specific circumstances (e.g., a statutory cooling-off period where no services have been consumed), we will honor such rights. Please contact us with relevant details if you believe you are legally entitled to a refund for purchased Credits.
Redemption is Final: When you redeem Credits to access a service (e.g., download a template, perform a resume evaluation), the Credits are considered consumed. We do not offer refunds for Credits that have been used to access or obtain any service or feature.
Template Downloads & Reuse: Redeeming Credits for a template grants you access as described in our Terms and Conditions, including the 30-day reuse period for the same CV document. No refund will be provided if you choose not to use the template after download, if you are unsatisfied with the template design (previews are available), or if the 30-day reuse period expires. The reuse period is a feature of the license, not a separate refundable item.
Evaluation Services: Credits used for resume or cover letter evaluations (including AI-powered evaluations) are non-refundable once the evaluation process has been initiated or completed. We aim to provide valuable feedback, but satisfaction with the evaluation outcome is subjective and not grounds for a refund.
As stated in our Terms and Conditions, CVHack is not liable for services provided by third-party professional writers or LinkedIn optimizers accessed via our platform. Any payment made to these third parties, even if facilitated initially through our platform, is subject to the refund policy of that specific Third-Party Provider.
CVHack does not issue refunds for payments made to, or dissatisfaction with services rendered by, these independent third parties. Disputes regarding these services must be resolved directly with the Third-Party Provider.
We may consider refunds on a case-by-case basis only under exceptional circumstances, such as:
Requests under these circumstances must be submitted within fourteen (14) days of the transaction date and will be reviewed at our sole discretion. Dissatisfaction with the service features or outcomes does not qualify as an exceptional circumstance.
